Although initially developed for the very high tech robotics market, the designers have thankfully also released the stunning pre-assembled version you see before you. This remarkable machine is controlled with 16 powerful HSR-8498HB digital servos and can walk, run, do flips, cartwheels, dance moves, balance on one leg, do press-ups, the list goes on. Standing a foot high, he's made from custom gold anodized metal servo brackets giving him a strong and lightweight exoskeleton with durable plastic body case components that protect the control board and battery from damage. The range of movement and articulation is like nothing we've ever seen in a commercially available robot, he's really quite amazing - you simply must check out the movie of this guy in action to see what he's capable of, it's enough to make you drool.

The Robonova I is a very hi-tech piece of kit, and the more 'into' robots and robotics you are, the more fun you'll have. You can program him to do all sorts of tricks and gymnastic feats (the cartwheel is pretty damn remarkable), and this is one hunk of technology where you really want to read the manual - even if that is an alien concept to many of you.
